BeSafe Publications is looking for talented young writers to share their best summer vacation ever! Stories should be at least 250 words and include a photo of the child, his or her name, address, grade and school. The contest is for children in second through fifth grades. The most interesting and well written story will be selected for printing in our Fall Edition magazine, read by thousands around East Texas!

Great stories should:

• Have about 250 words
• Be written by the child with as little help from mom or dad as possible
• Be typed
• Tell a whole story: where did they go? How did they travel? What experiences where new to them? Did they eat unusual foods?
• Use proper grammar and punctuation (as appropriate for their age
• Be centered around a real life experience they have had
